A Disturbing Pattern of Failure: Disparti Law Files Federal Lawsuit Alleging Decades of Sexual Abuse in Oconto Falls School District

On March 11, 2026, Disparti Law filed a massive federal lawsuit to bring to light deeply troubling allegations out of Oconto Falls, Wisconsin — claims that school officials failed to stop a pattern of sexual abuse and grooming spanning nearly two decades.

Filed in the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Wisconsin, the complaint outlines allegations of widespread misconduct involving multiple staff members and more than a dozen students at Oconto Falls High School between 2005 and 2025.

The lawsuit was brought forward by three former students, now adults, who allege they were sexually abused by school staff while they were minors. According to Disparti Law Group attorney Cass Casper, these women are not alone.
There are at least 14 known victims who have come forward or are prepared to share their experiences.

“These three brave young women have come forward with these claims because they want to solve an institutional problem,” said Casper. “They want to stop a culture where abuse, grooming, and inappropriate conduct toward students is allowed to flourish.”

Their decision to step forward is not just about their own experiences — it’s about accountability and protecting future students.

The complaint outlines a systemic failure within the district — a culture where misconduct was known, observed, and allowed to continue without meaningful intervention.

According to the filing, school officials and staff were aware of troubling behavior, including inappropriate relationships and boundary violations, yet failed to take sufficient action to protect students. These are not subtle warning signs. They are red flags that, according to the lawsuit, were ignored.

The lawsuit names three teachers, two of whom have already faced criminal charges related to sexual misconduct involving students. Yet, according to one of the plaintiffs, accountability remains incomplete. “My personal abuser has not been held accountable,” one victim shared publicly. “It’s been an ongoing cause of hurt and pain.”

The lawsuit also references additional staff members whose identities are not publicly disclosed, raising further concerns about the scope of the alleged misconduct.

Cases like this go beyond individual acts of misconduct. They raise critical questions about institutional responsibility, oversight, and the duty schools have to protect students.

When patterns of abuse are allowed to persist, the harm extends far beyond the individuals directly involved. It erodes trust, damages communities, and puts future students at risk.

At its core, this case is about accountability — not just for those who committed abuse, but for the systems that allegedly allowed it to continue.

At Disparti Law Group, we represent survivors who have experienced the unimaginable — and who are now finding the strength to come forward. These cases are never easy. They require courage, resilience, and a commitment to ensuring that what happened to them does not happen to someone else.
