Maria Glinatsis was born and raised in Tarpon Springs, Florida. In 2012 she graduated from the University of South Florida with a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science. In May 2015, Maria graduated from Florida International University College of Law. She was admitted into the Florida Bar in October 2015.
While in law school, Maria was a legal intern at the Legal Services Center of FIU. During this time she represented clients in a number of health-related areas, including: Medicaid eligibility, Social Security disability benefits, estate planning, and elder law. Additionally, Maria also worked with Florida Legal Services and Young Invincibles to support Medicaid expansion in Florida. Maria advocated directly to Florida legislators and participated in community outreach events to educate individuals on the coverage gap.
In her free time Maria enjoys spoiling her twin nephews, traveling to new places, and volunteering with various organizations in Tarpon Springs.
