The initiative builds on a long-running New Year’s Eve program, where Disparti Law Group distributes more than 1,000 ride vouchers annually. The effort has become a cornerstone of the firm’s commitment to community safety and responsible celebration. “If we can prevent even one accident, then the program is worth it,” said Larry Disparti, Attorney and Founder of Disparti Law Group. “These holidays should be about celebration—not tragedy.”
Following the success of the New Year’s Eve program, Disparti Law Group expanded the initiative last year to include St. Patrick’s Day. The response has been overwhelming, with all vouchers claimed quickly as demand continues to grow each year. From the South Side to the North Side, along Archer Avenue and throughout the surrounding suburbs, Chicagoans gathered at parades, neighborhood bars, and Irish pubs to celebrate. It is estimated that more than 10 million pints of beer are served during the festivities, making safe transportation options more important than ever.
“And when the parties are over, I want everyone to get home safe,” Disparti added. “That way, everyone wins.”
In addition to distributing vouchers across the city, Disparti Law Group also participated in WGN-TV’s St. Patrick’s Day kickoff celebration at 115 Bourbon Street in Merrionette Park. The event drew more than 1,000 attendees and served as a high-energy start to the weekend’s festivities. During the kickoff, Larry Disparti was interviewed by WGN’s Mike Toomey in front of a lively crowd of fans chanting his name, highlighting both the popularity of the program and its impact on the community.
As Chicago continues to celebrate one of its most beloved traditions, initiatives like this serve as an important reminder: planning a safe ride home can make all the difference.
