Disparti Law Group is proud to present its inaugural Player of the Year award to Will Smythe of Loyola University’s Men’s Basketball Team.
This year, Loyola University’s Men’s Basketball Team brought home the A-10 championship in a victory that started a fire on their northside campus. While their NCAA run didn’t last very long, it was a great season for the Ramblers.
Will Smythe is definitely one of the fan’s (and team’s) favorites. Nearly 15,000 votes came into the Disparti Law Group website in just over one month’s time.
Through the month, the leader flipped back and forth between Smythe and Naperville’s Tom Welch. In the end, Smythe was victorious with only 92 votes separating the two.
“I’m excited to present this award to Will Smythe. He is the perfect embodiment of a college athlete – someone who performs on the court, brings an unmatched energy to the arena, and is a player that everyone loves,” says Larry Disparti, Founder of Disparti Law Group.
The Player of the Year will receive a cash prize made possible by the Disparti Law Group.
“I am very excited to be named the Disparti Law Group Player of the Year. I was humbled at all the people who voted for me and supported me throughout my years as part of the Ramblers,” says Will Smythe.
