Bugaboo International is recalling more than 50,000 Cameleon and Donkey baby strollers Because of an issue with their handles, according to the Associated Press.

The problem concerns the button on the stroller’s carrycot/seat carry handle, which can become disengaged and cause the handle to detach. This could be a falling or choking hazard for a child.

The strollers were sold from September 2009 through December 2012 across the United States and Canada. So far there have been 58 reports of the handles coming off, but as of yet, no injuries have been reported.

People who bought the strollers are advised to immediately remove the carry handle. A free replacement is available through Bugaboo, and the strollers are safe to use while awaiting the new handle.

If your child has been injured due to this faulty stroller or another defective product, you could be eligible to receive money damages. At the very least, your child’s medical bills and other resulting expenses should be covered. To find out what compensation you might be entitled to, consult a personal injury lawyer.
